You can never have too much rope. If you have a lot of rope you can do everything from complicated tasks such as bridge building for river / creek crossings to simpler tasks such as pulley systems (for hoisting objects into the trees); then of course there’s the basic use of rope which is simply tying one object to another object, like a tarp to the top of a shelter.
